Welcome to the 19th U.S. National Congress on Computational Mechanics
We are excited to welcome you to the Nineteenth U.S. National Congress on Computational Mechanics (USNCCM19), taking place in July 2027 in Los Angeles, California. The event will be held at the Pasadena Convention Center, a vibrant location within walking distance of historic Old Town Pasadena, the Norton Simon Museum, and Caltech. With major transportation and infrastructure upgrades underway in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and 2028 Olympic Games, attendees will enjoy improved access and amenities across the city. Downtown LA, with landmarks like the Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Broad Museum, and Grand Central Market, is just a short 20-minute metro ride away. Classic Southern California attractions such as the Griffith Observatory, Disneyland, and the Santa Monica Pier are accessible within an hour.
USNCCM19 will feature a rich program of parallel sessions on cutting-edge topics including novel computational methods, scientific machine learning, advanced manufacturing, and biological and medical systems. Special sessions will be tailored to support students and early-career researchers, while incorporating insights from industry leaders and federal agencies. We are also introducing exciting new elements to the program, including late-breaking topic sessions and other innovative formats designed to foster dynamic exchange and discovery. We look forward to bringing the computational mechanics community together for an engaging and inspiring week in the City of Angels.
